Join the Food Lab
Are you a chef, researcher, or food entrepreneur? tkc’s food lab is a space for innovation, collaboration, and experimentation. We welcome:

We warmly invite visiting chefs and women from traditional communities across Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala—as well as Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana—to join us at TKC. They can engage with our chefs and trainees, share their culinary knowledge and practices, co-create new recipes, and introduce regional herbs, vegetables, and spices. Together, we aim to craft dishes that are wholesome, nutritious, and delicious.
Visiting Chefs

If you are Chef, a food designer, or researcher who has been looking into ingredients, or food traditions of communities in the region and want to explore further in showcasing, writing, filming, blogging or exploring to produce new variants of the food from the region, talk to us about a residency.
Culinary residencies

We’re looking for passionate intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs to collaborate with TKC—whether by launching a satellite kitchen in your region, opening up infrastructure, or investing in exciting ventures led by our trained women chefs.
Intrapreneurs and Entrepreneurs

If you’re passionate about communications and storytelling, we welcome volunteers to help capture and share the journeys of women, communities, and regional food—through writing, photos, and videos—that we will publish both online and in print.
